DAILY DUNKS WITH DOTO

Point Guard:

Jrue Holiday - With three straight games of 50 or more fantasy points, Holiday is playing his best basketball of the year. Phoenix is awful at stopping opposing point guards and this game will be a shootout. He has had one off game in over the last month and his consistency gets my juices flowing. If you play Holiday I wouldn’t be mad at you if you stack him with A.D. or even sneakier Nikola Mirotic. The back to back does scare me a little bit but this match-up is too juicy.

Ricky Rubio - His price is way too low. He played 29 minutes last game and he should see over 30 tonight. The Rockets are playing a back to back and Rubio will be getting a nice bump in pace which favors the style of basketball he plays. Rubio has struggled since coming back from injury but this play has to do with his price and matchup. Don’t fall in the trap of looking at his last three games and ruling him out. Rubio is a good play for cash and is a sneaky gpp play because of the recentcy biased.

Other plays I like: Jeff Teague, Trey Burke and Josh Hart

Shooting Guard:

Devin Booker - Good matchup- check. Good price- check. Elite scorer- check. This might be a lock and load which can come back to bite us in the butt. Booker has shot the ball 68 times in the last three games and he’s averaging close to five rebounds and assists a night so he isn’t a one trick pony. New Orleans might be the worst defensive team in the league and Booker should feast. Booker is making me feel all types of frisky tonight, lock and load? Maybe but if he craps the bed it’s not my fault.

Andrew Wiggins - No Jimmy Butler means Wiggins will have the freedom to shoot the ball as many times as he wants. I just wished he showed some effort on defense or rebounding the ball and if he does that he will be in for a big night. He might be a safe sex play. His season high was a 51-point fantasy outburst last month but he scored 40 points. He is point dependent but he should be good for around 30 fantasy points and anything more will be great (obviously). Hopefully without Jimmy in the lineup will make him showcase his ability.

Other plays I like: D’Angelo Russell or Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Small Forward:

I am paying down at small forward tonight. I need a position to save some money and there are players under $6,000 on Draft Kings that give us safety in our cash game lineups. Joe Ingles has scored 30 or more fantasy points in six out of his eight games. The bump in pace and extra possessions make him a cash game play. DeMarre Carroll has scored 30 or more fantasy points in five of his last six. Bogdan Bogdan is in play against Minnesota and without Jimmy Butler the Wolves take a big hit defensively. David Nwaba will see over 30 minutes and the Chicago and BK game should be a donk fest but that is fantasy gold. Nemanja Bjelica is under $5,000 but he doesn’t have huge upside but he should be good for around 20 fantasy points. There are some value plays tonight and I am leaning towards Carroll or Bogdan because they seem to have the highest floors and ceiling.

Power Forward:

Aaron Gordon - Does anybody else remember the last time Aaron Gordon went against OKC? I do. He went off for 40 points and 15 rebounds, that’s pretty good. He seems to be healthy and his minutes should go back to around 34 minutes a night which will be plenty to dominate Carmelo Anthony again. He is risky but I feel good about it, how good you ask? Good enough for me to put him in my cash game lineups! You guys didn’t realize that I was such a bad ass did you, well know you know.

Skal Labissiere - He has seen 25 minutes over the last two games and at his price that’s all he needs to have a good game. I feel pretty confident that he can get us 20-25 fantasy points tonight and if he is the cheapest guy in my lineup that means I’ll win all the money. Before he got hurt he was averaging around 25 fantasy points and the Kings are looking to develop their young players. This isn’t a safe sex play, this is a meet a stranger at a bar and hope to baby Jesus that you don’t get an STD from kissing face. There’s some risk but at his price and the minutes he will be good for our cash games.

Other plays I like: Old man Dirk, Thad Young or Nikola Mirotic

Center:

Julius Randle - I think Luke Walton has realized that Julius Randle is good at basketball. He has scored over 40 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Atlanta is bad and this game has fantasy goodness written all over it for the Lakers. Randle’s price is getting up there but it’s hard to ignore his production. Lock and load tonight.

Jonas Valanciunas - The biggest problem with Jonas is his minutes but I think he is a lock for 30 minutes. In 2017 against Drummond, Jonas averaged 30 minutes a night (4 games) and this season against Detroit he went off for 17 points and 16 rebounds. He is a good play when the other team has a big dominate center and this is the night where he will go low owned and he has showed his upside with a 60 taco against Utah last month. I am taking some risk tonight in cash games and the fourth Jonas brother is in play.

Other plays I like: Andre Drummond or Alex Len

Dunks of the night: Devin Booker, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Jonas Valanciunas and Julius Randle
