DAILY DUNKS WITH DOTO
Value all over the place tier: Dame Lillard, Jrue Holiday or Dejounte Murray
Dame keeps getting good matchups and tonight is no different. He will get smelly Milos defense and he should feast tonight. He seems to be alternating between 30 and 40 fantasy point nights and tonight looks like he should be good for around 40. Jrue has to take on a bigger work load now that DeMarcus Cousins is out for the season. He went off for a 50 burger last game and he should be a lock for around 40 fantasy points. His price is going up which leaves less room for error but he should have no problem scoring on Sacramento’s back court. Dejounte Murray has scored over 30 fantasy points in four or the last five games. He’s a poor man’s Russell Westbrook with the way he fills up the stat sheet. He will be in my cash game lineups again tonight.
The getting buckets tier: James Harden, DeMar DeRozan and Lou Williams
If CP3 sits tonight, Harden will be a lock in my lineups. Even if he doesn’t, Harden should have his way and have no problem getting us a 50 burger. Aaron Gordon has already been ruled out so this game could get ugly quick. DeMar is too cheap on DK and Jimmy Butler defense doesn’t scare me. Kent Bazemore and Evan Fournier both had big nights against him. Sweet Lou is too expensive for me on FD at $8,900. However, on DK at $8,200 he will be a fixture in my lineups. He will shoot the ball two hundred and eight times tonight. You can pay up for him on FD but like Jrue Holiday the higher the price the less room they have for error. Lou Will is my lock at the position tonight on DK.
Saving money tier: Trey Lyles, DaMarre Carroll and Reggie Bullock
Trey Lyles should see some more minutes with Mason Plumlee missing the game with a calf injury. He’s been a consistency monster over the last month and if he sees 30 minutes tonight he should do just fine for our cash games. DeMarre Carroll is one of the most boring players in the league but he will get around 30 minutes and should be around 25-30 fantasy points. This is the definition of a cash game play and this game against the Knicks should be a good one to stack. In his last game against the Knicks he went for 22/8/3, not bad and that should be good enough for our lineups. Reggie Bullock scares me a little bit but he is cheap on both sites and over the last two games he has been good. He’s been consistent with two straight 30 fantasy point nights and with the recent trade I wouldn’t be surprised if he played around 35 minutes tonight. Bullock should see the most minutes tonight and he’s the cheapest which could open up some salary to pay up for a stud tonight.
Paying down tonight tier: Montrezl Harrell and Ed Davis
Harrell is under $4,500 on both sites and Davis is $5,200 on FD and on DK he is a better value at $4,400. Both will be in all of my lineups because of the minutes they will see tonight and Davis has scored over 24 fantasy points in four straight games. At their prices they don’t have to have monster games to give us the magic “value” word. I really don’t have much else to say about the position tonight except for the Clippers are idiots for trading my main man Blake Griffin. If Gallo returns tonight and starts then I want nothing to do with Harrell unless he is starting. Ed Davis it is!
Defensive big men tier: Rudy Gobert, DeAndre Jordan and Steven Adams
Last season vs Golden State, Rudy Gobert averaged 16 points, 17 rebounds and two blocks a game. Most will stay away from this game but Gobert has had great success against that donkey Draymond Green. DeAndre Jordan is stuck now in L.A. without his bestie Blake but in the past, he has done well without his BFF on the court. Lou Williams and DeAndre should both have monster games tonight and it’s a good way to get a piece of the last game of the night. I just like to attack Washington at the center position and Steven Adams has been consistent for the season. This game could get ugly with John Wall out but if the Thunder blow out the Wizards Adams will still get his tonight.
