DAILY DUNKS WITH DOTO
Tonight, is a juicy 12 game slate and there are a lot of good match-ups. The games that catch my eye are Houston/Orlando, Minnesota/BK, Phoenix/Dallas and OKC/LA. These will be the four games that I will get my player pool from. Narrowing it down is critical tonight for our cash games. I have been trying to get too cute the last couple of nights and it has back fired. Let’s trust our instincts tonight and here are the cash play games for tonight.
There something else that I am going to add for every article. There are some players who are mispriced and I believe it’s important for us to take advantage of it. It could be that one site has them priced too high or low and here are the list of players who price is off.
Steph Curry: FD--$9,800 DK--$8900. This is way too cheap on DK for Curry and the Warriors have had off since last year (12/30.) He is priced at $9,800 on FD and that seems about right but too much for me. On DK he should be a lock and load with that price.
Anthony Davis: FD-$10,900 DK-$9,900. Anytime AD is under 10k that catches my attention. This is a great GPP/cash game play tonight.
Kevin Love: FD-$7,900 DK-$8,000. He gets the double green tag for tonight. If he is healthy and over his illness this is a steal. Keep an eye out for a report before the game. He has had good success against Boston over the last two seasons.
Paul George: FD-$8,400 DK $7,600. On both sites he is too cheap but especially on DK. This is a good match-up against the Lakers and KCP defense doesn’t scare me enough to fade PG.
Jamal Murray: FD-$7,300 DK-$6,700. He has scored 30 on more fantasy points in four straight. Great match-up and should be over 7,500 on this slate.
Julius Randle: FD-$6,300 DK-$5,700. On DK this is a steal. It’s looking like Kuzma will miss this game but even if he plays, Randle is a steal tonight. Hopefully we don’t get “Luked” tonight.
Trey Lyles: FD-$6,300 DK-$5,100. Trey Lyles has been in my lineups over the last two weeks. He has scored over 25 fantasy points in six of his last eight games. Great cash game play on DK.
Dejounte Murray: FD-$3,500 DK-$4,700. I am guessing he will start for Tony Parker tonight and he is the minimum on FD at $3,500. Great matchup and he should see around 25 minutes tonight. DK you can go there also but on FD he is a must play.
Chris Paul- Holy moly talk about a price bump but to be honest, I don’t mind it. Not only is Harden out but now he gets awful Elfrid Payton defense. The over/under on this game should be around 1,000 tonight and that could be selling it short. CP3 is the man now and I wouldn’t be surprised that after this game if he is a 10k player. Lock and load CP3 tonight in all formats.
Jamal Murray- He is finally getting the minutes to make him a cash game play. Murray ended 2017 with four straight games of 30 or more fantasy points and over the last three he has seen over 35 minutes. The tiny Suns backcourt will have their hands full tonight and along with the Houston/Orlando game this game will be a shoot-out. 2018 is going to be a crazy year if I am playing the broken arrow in my cash game line-ups but as long as he is getting the minutes I’ll go down swinging with him.
Other plays I like: Steph Curry on DK is too cheap at $8,900, Kyrie Irving, Dejounte Murray, I am assuming Parker will sit and he gets the start and J.J. Barea
Evan Fournier- This year he is shooting better at home and now he gets chubby Eric Gordon defense. This game was made for Fournier because they will need to hit a ton of three’s to keep up with the Houston Rockets. The crepes must taste better in Orlando and I am hoping he gets his fill tonight before the game. It could be raining grape jelly crepes tonight (best kind of crepe there is) and tonight will be a good night from the Frenchmen.
Gary Harris/Will Barton- Either one is in play for cash games. Harris is a boring safe sex kind of play and Will Barton is the kinky and wild dream sex that you have late at night. Harris hasn’t been anything special of late and Barton comes in the game firing which is why I love to roster him. Playing both on either site wouldn’t be a bad idea because at least one of them are on the court at all times for the Nuggets.
Other plays I like: DeMar DeRozan, Donovan Mitchell or Thabo Sefolosha
Paul George- He is too cheap again tonight. I want exposure in the late game and PG is a good guy to have. On DK, there is no reason why he isn’t in our cash game or GPP lineups. He had no problem with KCP last year and he scored at least 21 points in every game against him last season. Lock and load PG on DK.
Trey Lyles- Lyles has been a cash game lock for me over the last week. He is too cheap on DK at $5,100 and he thrives in up tempo games. He doesn’t have a huge ceiling but he should have no problem getting us between 20-30 fantasy points tonight.
Other plays I like: Jonathan Simmons or Joe Ingles
Aaron Gordon- Gordon can be a headache but he will do well in this up-tempo game. He does better when he doesn’t have time to think and he can run up and down the court. He can be an absolute stud and if his shots are falling he can be in for a monster night.
Jordan Bell- Bell has been a consistency monster over the past six games and he should see around 20 minutes tonight. He is at a good price and the last time he faced the Jazz he put up 30 fantasy points in 24 minutes. If this game is a blow-out he could see more minutes but either way he is a good play for some salary relief tonight.
Other plays I like: Anthony Davis, Michael Beasley or Richaun Holmes
Julius Randle- How could this possibly go wrong? His coach loves him, right? On DK, he is at a good price, $5,700 on DK and if “the Luke” gives him the minutes that he has been getting over the last three games, he will have a big game. Brook Lopez will play tonight so Randle could get 11 minutes. It’s a risk but if he goes off, we will be swimming in the money tonight. You need to take big risk on these big slates to win.
Greg Monroe- When the Suns have played back to backs, Monroe has filled in for Tyson Chandler and dominated. He has fresh legs but hasn’t played since 12/21 so he could be rusty. If we get word on who is starting tonight at center for the Suns, they will be in my lineup. If Alex Len gets the start, I feel the same way. Like Randle, it is a risky play but can pay off. He has scored over 20 fantasy points in his last seven games he’s played. If you ain’t first, you’re last.
Other plays I like: Bismack Biyombo or Steven Adams
