DAILY DUNKS WITH DOTO
Oh baby we got a massive 12 game slate tonight. Everybody has their own strategies that work for bigger slate but the one piece of advice that I can give you is don’t settle or force a play tonight. There are a ton of option’s tonight and if you aren’t feeling a player, don’t play him. What I like to do for my cash games is narrow my player pool down to about half of the games. I will completely ignore a handful of games and that will help me get my player pool down to players that I am comfortable with. Enough blabbering from me, here are the cash games players for tonight.
Kris Dunn- He has scored over 30 FD points in six of his last seven games and he has showed his ceiling of 53. He gets Elfrid Payton defense which is what I like to target every night that the Magic play. He is getting good minutes and his price is staying in a good range to make for cash game play. I like to get a more balanced team and Dunn is a good play to start your team off with.
Dejounte Murray/Patty Mills- If Murray gets the start tonight, he is a lock and load. The Trail Blazers have been better on defense but that isn’t because of the guards. Patty Mills is more of a cash game play because he will get anywhere between 22-28 minutes and he should get us around 20 fantasy points tonight. Both are in play tonight but keep an eye out for the starting lineup.
Other plays I like: Chris Paul, Isaiah Cannon, Austin Rivers
Victor Oladipo- This man is on a mission this year. Even against a strong defensive team in Boston he put up 57.5 FD points. He does everything on the court and he is playing huge minutes, that equals fantasy gold. If Oladipo doesn’t get the juices flowing for you, you might want to go get checked out. He gets an awful defensive team in the Hawks and they don’t have a rim protector. This is a great spot and for some reason people don’t think he is the real deal. Lock and load Oladipo tonight.
Jonathan Simmons- He will get another big usage bump with Fournier and Gordon out tonight. His price is rising but he keeps producing. He has scored 40 DK points in three out of his last four games and he goes lower owned because people aren’t believing in him. This game will be high scoring and with Dunn and Simmons, you will get a good part of this game.
Other plays I like: DeMar DeRozan, Mario Hezonja, Josh Hart
Brandon Ingram- I keep playing him in my cash game line-ups and it seems like I get him low owned every night for some reason. In his last four games, he is averaging 34 DK points and this game in Houston fits his style of play. He gets old man Trevor Ariza defense which will be extra bad tonight because he will have to play big minutes. He’s had back to back 40 DK games and I am looking for another one from Ingram. Solid cash game play.
Trevor Ariza- He will get over 35 minutes tonight and his price is under $5,500 on both sites. He doesn’t have huge upside but he has been getting around 24 DK points over his last six games. If you play him just don’t expect a monster game. He will get between 25-30 fantasy points and at his cheap price you take that and move on to the next play.
Other plays I like: Kevin Durant, Kent Bazemore, Will Barton
LaMarcus Aldridge- Guess who’s back? Back again, LaMarcus is back, tell a friend. Kawhi will sit for this game which allows for Aldridge to go back and dominate on the offensive side of the ball. He goes back to Portland where he started his career and he should have more motivation then usually to ball out against his old team. He is under $8,000 on both sites and he is the perfect fit for our balanced attack in our cash games.
Kyle Kuzma- He has played over 29 minutes in the last four games and with the injury to Brook Lopez he can get run at the five in this game. I think both teams will run small tonight and Kuzma should have a monster game. His price is good and he has showed good upside this year. Lock and load Kuzma tonight.
Other plays I like: Julius Randle, Trey Lyles, Jordan Bell
Nikola Vucevic- His price is getting up there but he has scored over 47 FD points in seven of his last eight games. He gets no Fournier and Gordon again which means he will be the focal point of the offense. He is pricey but he keeps producing and his ownership will be very low because of his price and the size of the slate.
Alex Len- The Suns seemed to have made their choice between Greg Monroe and Alex Len. Len has scored 35 and 48 FD points in the last two games and I love to attack DeAndre Jordan on the offensive side of the ball. This game has the chance to be a shootout and Len should benefit better then Chandler in this fast-paced game.
Other plays I like: DeAndre Jordan, Robin Lopez, Al Horford
Dunks of the night
Kris Dunn, Jonathan Simmons, Brandon Ingram and LaMarcus Aldridge
