Tonight is a little six game slate but there are two juicy games that I will be looking at. Pelicans @ Houston and Portland @ Golden State are the two games that I am going to be stacking. Surprisingly, Houston gets a bump in pace tonight against New Orleans and the Trail Blazers get a nice pump in pace also. I am looking to see who is playing big minutes lately and I try to squeeze as many big minute players in my cash lineup as possible. The more minutes they play the more chances they have of getting points. There are some good value plays tonight that will allow us to pay up for a stud or two in our cash game lineups. Tonight I will be targeting players like Al-Farouq Aminu who thrive in fast pace games. Here are my cash game plays for tonight, good luck everyone.

Point Guard:

Dame Lillard- Dame has been playing the best basketball of his career lately. He has scored 50+ FD/DK points in his last three games and now he gets to play way up in pace against Golden State. The good thing about playing Dame is that defenses can’t just focus on him, they also have to worry about C.J. McCollum. Dame has been filling up the stat sheet, shooting the ball 20+ times a game and is playing big minutes. He is a good pivot off of Harden and Westbrook and he gives you almost two thousand in savings. Dame is a lock in my cash games tonight.

Chris Paul- CP3 is still underpriced on DK and he will be in my cash game lineups. He is a 9k player and now he gets to face Rajon Rono who is the laziest defender in the league (he plays no “d” he gets no d in his name). This fast pace game suits CP3 well and it doesn’t matter if he’s on the court with Harden or not, he will get his tonight. Big minutes and all-around stats are what I am looking for and with his discounted price he is locked into my cash games again tonight.

Other plays I like: Jrue Holiday, Rajon Rondo, Kris Dunn, Fred VanVleet, David Nwaba, Terry Rozier

Shooting Guard:

DeMar DeRozan- I have been playing a lot of DeRozan in my cash games and over the last five games he has put up over 40 DK points. He plays big minutes and the Clippers back court is awful on defense. The back to back doesn’t worry me with DeRozan. I feel in cash games Harden is the play or they try to find value in the lower priced players. Low ownership and a three thousand price difference between him and Harden will help me get a better lineup overall. If Harden scores only 10-15 more points than DeMar, that is a win for us in cash games.

E’Twaun Moore- He is an average player at best be in this fast paced game and his big minutes (36+ in six plus games) he is a lock in my lineups. He is still cheap and there isn’t a reason why with James Harden defense he doesn’t hit value tonight. He is a popular play in cash games but I like that because if he is highly owned and he doesn’t do well it doesn’t hurt your chances of cashing. I don’t think he’s very talented but everything is pointing towards a cash game play tonight.

Other plays I like: James Harden or Andre Roberson

Small Forward:

Kevin Durant- I am finding it hard not to have KD in my cash game lineup tonight. He has 70+ DK points in his last two games and his price only went up $200. The Trail Blazers do have good defenders on the wing but they are good because they are tall and lanky and KD is the definition of tall and lanky. If I had to choose between KD and Harden, I am leaning KD because of the price difference and without Curry he is getting to show why he is a top three player in the world. KD/Dame/CP3 or Demar is a good core to start your lineups with tonight.

Al-Farouq Aminu- This is the perfect game for Aminu’s abilities. A fast paced game where he should get around 35 minutes screams cash game play. His price on DK ($4,600) is perfect because if he gets us only 20 DK points he will hit value. Good price, good minutes and good pace leads to fantasy gold.

Other plays I like: Danillo Gallinari or Trevor Ariza

Power Forward:

Anthony Davis- He usually goes low owned because of how often he gets hurt and everyone else plays Boogie Cousins. This fast paced game made AD have a wet dream last night. He gets Ryan Anderson defense and for him that doesn’t get any better. He will run up and down the court all night (hopefully he doesn’t get hurt) and this should be a 60 point night for him. He will be low owned and he can easily be the highest scoring player of the night. He is a good pivot off of the other studs going tonight.

Jakob Poeltl- I need a good value play tonight and Poeltl has been that over the last month. Over the last four games he has played 20+ minutes and that is what I am looking for in this price range. He could put up an absolute dud but at his price if that happens it won’t kill my lineup. If he gets us around 15-20 tonight he will be having some wet dreams because of all the money we will be winning tonight.

Other plays I like: Marvin Williams, JaMychal Green, David West

Boogie Cousins- Do I really need to tell you to play Boogie tonight? He’s good and Clint Capela weights about 97 pounds. If Capela isn’t in the game he will get old man Nene and this isn’t 2007, there is NO WAY he can stop Boogie from doing anything on the court. It’s always a good spot to play him and tonight in this fast paced game is no different.

Marc Gasol- He is in a good price range because everyone will pay up at center or look for value. He is a good play any night and he gets Kelly (that’s a girl’s name) Olynyk defense. By the way, two y’s in a last name is uncalled for and who has three y’s in their name? This is a smash spot and this may be the only player I target in this game. Most will stay away from this game all together which means Gasol will go low owned once again tonight. Fantasy wet dreams for everyone tonight!

Other plays I like: Steven Adams or Draymond Green

Dunks of the night: Dame Lillard, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis
